DHS Pop Up Surprise July 30, 2010

Today's pop up surprise characters at DHS Animation Buildings were;

The Queen

Goofy

Minnie

DHS Pop Up Surprise!

Today at the Animation Building at DHS, guest were treated to a "Pop Up Surprise". According to a character handler, characters pop up for a surprise appearance on non fantasmic nights. Today at 4:50pm the first set of characters Jafar, Queen of Hearts, Mary Poppins, Chip and Dale, Minnie, Pluto, and Belle popped up. Then again at 5:20pm the second set of characters popped up featuring Pocahontas and Meeko, Captain Hook, Jasmine and Aladdin, Snow White, and Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

Fiesta Donald's New Meet and Greet at Epcot

Fiesta Donald's new meet and greet location in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot is now open! Guests can meet Fiesta Donald in the Mexico Pavilion outside next to the Mayan temple. Fiesta Donald meets intermittently from 11-6 daily. His new meet and greet location features a unique background that is great for pictures.

Animal Kingdom Character Meet and Greets

In addition to Camp Minnie Mickey, Disney characters are available to meet thoughout Animal Kingdom. Here is where they can be found and some updated pictures!

Lilo and Stitch make intermitent appearances outside the Island Merchantile Store.

Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger make daily appearances at the Boat Dock on Discovery Island.

Meeko, Timon, Baloo, and Rafiki have appeared recently at the entrance to Animal Kingdom. Characters at this location appear randomly and change. I have seen others here including Brer Bear and Brer Fox (not pictured).

Flik makes appearances in Africa along with King Louie, Baloo, and Terk.

Goofy and Pluto appear daily in Dinoland USA.

Jiminy Cricket, Rafiki, and Pocahontas appear daily at the Rafiki's Planet Watch Conservation Station. To get there, you must take a train. Allow extra time in your day for this experience. The train departs in Africa near the Safari.

Epcot Independence Day Holiday Characters

In honor of Independence Day, Epcot celebrated with some special friends. Betsy Ross, Benjamin Franklin, and Patriot Mickey, Goofy and Donald. Guests were invited to share the history of the American Flag with Betsy Ross inside the American Adventure Rotunda. Ben Franklin greeted guests outside of the American Adventure Theater. Patriot Mickey, Goofy and Donald greeted guests for a rare meet and greet opportunity outside Heritage Manor Gifts in the American Pavilion.



In addition to the Independence Day characters, some random characters made appearances at Epcot.

Queen of Hearts and Mr. Penguin appeared near the Innovations Fountain.
Minnie, Pluto, Rafiki, and Big Al appeared at the American Adventure random character spot.
