Disneyland Paris Hotel Character Meet and Greets

Disneyland Paris Hotels feature character meet and greets daily. Each hotel usually has two characters appearing in the morning hours from 8:00am-11:30am. Some hotels have characters in special outfits, others have characters in traditional outfits. We focused our energy on the special outfits. Disneyland Paris has six on site hotels; Disneyland Hotel, Newport Bay, Sequoia Lodge, New York Hotel, Hotel Cheyenne, and Hotel Santa Fe.  Every morning during our trip we visited each of these hotels to see what characters were appearing. We stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe so we always started there. The Santa Fe featured only characters in their traditional outfits during our stay. The two hotels with the most unique characters were the Sequoia Lodge and Cheyenne. Here are the some of the characters we met on our trip!

Magical Moment at Disneyland Hotel Paris

The Disneyland Hotel in Paris hosts a Magical Moment daily at 4:00pm at the hotel lobby. This moment features characters cascading down the staircase into the lobby to dance and pose for pictures with their fans. 

Characters vary daily and on Halloween, characters donned their costumes to great guests. There were even special appearances by some of Disney's favorite villains! 

This event is open to the public. You do not have to be a guest at the hotel. The entire event lasts about 20 minutes. The characters have no dedicated lines. You take turns jumping in and out for photos. This style of meet and greet we often refer to as a "melee". No rules, no lines, no character hosts. Just pushing, shoving, and yelling :).

News from Disneyland Paris!

Inventions at the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris offers a special character dining experience on Sundays and on holidays. Inventions serves brunch from 1:00pm-3:00pm. Each brunch has a theme and characters appear based on the theme. It is a full service buffet and the price is 64.99 euros per person. Considering this is a dining experience, it is sometimes difficult to take pictures without objects or people in the background. During our stay, we were lucky enough to attend four brunches.

The first brunch we attended was London themed and featured characters inspired from Mary Poppins. We met Mary Poppins, Bert, Mr Penguin, Mickey, Minnie, and Duffy in Mary Poppins inspired outfits.

The second brunch we attended was on Halloween so of course it was Halloween themed! Characters appeared in special Halloween costumes! We met Chip, Dale, Duffy, Mickey, Minnie, and Donald.

Our fourth and final brunch was a fairytale theme. This featured characters from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It was incredible to see all seven dwarfs separately. Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy all had the most adorable outfits ever!
